What is weeks of cover (WOC)?
How many weeks your current stock will last at the current rate of sale.
Why it matters: The simplest stock-health signal. Too few and you stock out; too many and cash is tied up and markdown risk builds.
How it's worked out: WOC = stock on hand ÷ average weekly unit sales. (1,200 ÷ 150 = 8 weeks)
