What is sell-through?

The share of stock that has sold in a period.

Why it matters: The fastest read on whether a product is working; it drives re-buy, markdown and allocation.

How it's worked out: Sell-through % = units sold ÷ units received × 100. (650 of 1,000 = 65%)
