How Tightly works with AMS Fulfillment

Step 1 — Connect locations & data

Authenticate AMS and select the facilities you use. Tightly syncs products, on-hand by location, inbound shipments/receipts, suppliers, and open POs.

Step 2 — Configure Smart Replenishment

Set DOH targets, lead-time buffers, MOQ/case-pack rules, and (optionally) Open-to-Buy. Add event adjustments (promo/launch uplift) by date and location.

Step 3 — Plan & execute

Run Smart Replenishment to get explainable recommendations (timeline, DOH, lead time, inbound coverage). Convert selections to AMS-ready purchase orders in one click. ETAs and receipts flow back so forecasts and InStock ship-by dates stay accurate.

Key inventory planning features for AMS users

  1. Location-aware forecasting

Recommendations show the why per SKU: demand window, current DOH, AMS lead time, and what’s already inbound to the selected AMS site.

  2. Budget-aware replenishment

Set Open-to-Buy caps by week/month. Tightly prioritizes high-impact SKUs and keeps spend inside your budget before orders are created.

  3. Policies you can reuse

Create seasonal/essentials/margin-led policies once (targets, buffers, supplier/pack rules) and apply them to saved SKU sets on a weekly/monthly cadence.

  4. One-click POs to AMS

Auto-group by supplier, MOQ, case pack, and lead time. Tightly generates vendor-ready PDFs and creates purchase orders, then tracks confirmations and ETAs.

  5. Keep selling with InStock

Show “ships by” dates aligned to AMS inbound ETAs and cap backorders to confirmed inbound quantities; auto-fulfil as receipts land.

  6. Slack/email alerts

Get proactive alerts for projected stockouts, low inbound, or ETA slips so operations can act before promises break.
